Changes, changes. I can’t believe that spring is here. I spent the night last night at Gayle’s and I woke up about 6:00 o’clock– wide awake from a dream that David had called to tell me he couldn’t wait til’ next Wednesday to see me. My organism had recorded his voice on the telephone last night perfectly. The dream was so realistic. I went back to sleep again and woke up half an hour later to the telephone ringing– I thought it was David calling. Every morning Gayle’s mother calls her at 6:30 to wake her– she lets the phone ring 4 or 5 times and hangs up– then at 7 she calls back and waits for Gayle to answer. When Gayle didn’t answer the phone at 6:30 I yelled Gayle! Get the phone– why– it’s mother, she said– no, I said– today is Saturday (Gayle’s mother doesn’t call on Saturday)
Bright wide awake feeling like Saturday on a Tuesday. Things must be changing.
