Self acceptance is part of a larger process of understanding the state of being a human. We are all parts of the god spirit. We are composites of our experiences in this lifetime, our gifts, those primal needs and desires that are always with us– and the inexplicable daily flow of spirit through our consciousness. We are all works in progress– unfinished characters pursuing daily definition. By accepting ourselves as whole. It is a mutual process. By accepting the contradictions and unfinished business of ourselves, we accept the people in our lives as perhaps not all in one piece. We are all many things at once. Even those we most love will have currents and sides that dismay or annoy or perhaps revolt us.
