I pray that I remember, when the times comes to remember, that Washington is a loathsome southern town with streets filled with illiterate criminals and pallid unwholesome bureaucrats. I pray that I will remember what is is like to fall into bed drunk after eleven beers knowing that there isn’t a chance in hell of being happy tonight. Or tomorrow. Or next week.
