I move through the past couple of days amid an enormous sense of calm and relaxation. Unbelievably, work seems totally manageable— I have only stayed late once since I returned to work a month ago. And then only until 8:00. My assistant has taken an enormous burden from me. And I prevent myself from getting steamed up over deadlines. I do the work as quickly and efficiently as I can and ignore the deadlines.
