It suddenly turned very cool tonight. It’s a deliciously cozy feeling to be curled up in bed with Sadie contentedly washing herself under the covers. Her cold nose nudges against my leg and I love her so much. Its been a big happy busy day. I got up at 5:00 am to watch Prince Charles and Lady Diana marry. It was sheer romance– a real life fairy tale. I sat on the living room floor and drank coffee and ate donuts as the room quietly filled with light. Sort of a quiet day at work. We are about to become very busy and I am trying to remain calm and peaceful as the onslaught of what I know is going to be a desperately busy period looms in the immediate future. One day at a time. First things first. Take it easy.

Tonight Allan treated me to a show– a sweet surprise. We saw Cloud 9 at the Theatre de Lys on Christopher Street. Both of us enjoyed it enormously. Afterward we went to Boots and Saddles. Jules was there and we visited. Odd that I have no deep feelings about him. Certainly no ill will. Just nothing. We went to Julius on the way home Then I walked Sadie and made my nightly run for ice cream. Jim called and we had a nice chat. Then Mac called and made a couple of overtly flirty comments. I like him very much and I enjoy his flirtations. I am not sure if I want to sleep with him though. I feel so good tonight. So peaceful and rich and happy. I cuddle up with visions of Phil.
