Tomorrow we leave Provincetown. I sit in a wicker chair in this twilight cottage and ache at the thought of returning. I long to stay.

Today we went deep sea fishing; a boat from Provincetown sailed deep into the cape. We spent the afternoon drinking beer and quietly watching our lives. The return at sunset was glorious with gulls following the ship and bellowing clouds descending into blue dusk.
