God, what a bummy day today is. I was up till nearly 4 o’clock this morning reading. I finished “Season of The Witch.” It was a very nice book. But, then I slept till noon– at which time I was rudely awakened by the building inspector. That was a hassle. Draped in my red spread I leaned against the doorway and camped out. “Oh, Inspector, so glad you’re here.”

Anyway, I’m just into sort of a strung out– bored mood. I need to clean up this apartment. It’s trashed pretty bad– also– I’ve got to face that trip to Cincinnati tomorrow. I think that’s what’s really bothering me. Shit. Maybe if I get good and stoned tomorrow morning before I go it won’t be so bad– Yes, that’s what I’ll do.

I’m having egg rolls right now– and iced tea. I think I’ll turn the air conditioner up and just relax and get my head together.
