Julian’s apartment on a cold and windy Saturday night. Blustery day at Metropolitan Museum of Art. Meeting Julian’s friend Nino and Lynn. Late lunch at a mexican restaurant uptown. Saw a fantastic play on Broadway last night. Broadway and standing next to Mary Travers in the lobby. Valium and gin and tonic and late afternoon sex and cold rain. Trying to forget about death and dying and wanting to be loved by a big strong man. New York full of bleak and buildings and beautiful men and haggard people. And I want to live here and can’t wait to get back to green Provincial Washington. Come to me love–
