Incredible tragedy. Eight men have died. Newspaper interviews describe the terror of being trapped inside a burning building. I spoke with Juan on the phone today. He’s miraculously okay. I was fighting back tears when I spoke to him– imagining that wonderful, vibrant life-filled man lying unconscious in a burning nightmare. The photos of the street littered with bodies of young men haunts me. The article spoke of a priest at the scene– going from body to body administering last rights.

I am operating on the edge of tears.

Love come to me quickly. Hold me gently through this night. Comfort me.
