Tick, tick… I sit alone in the house and get stoned and drink beer and listen to the Yvonne Fair album I used to play constantly in my 39th Street apartment. Memories float past. My affair with Guy. Living with Jim. The years with Richard. Way back when with Margie. Gayle. Oklahoma City. Jimmie. My twenties have been a fabulous decade. Filled with an assortment of marvelous, wonderful people. This show has had a successful run. And I leave Saturday for rehearsals of a new show about to open on Broadway.
